polarization visualization#

provides a visualization tool for the polarization state of light in different basis systems.

Input parameters are:

  • basis: select from circular or linear

  • r_1 / A_1: amplitude of the right hand circular or horizontal polarization

  • r_2 / A_2: amplitude of the left hand circular or vertical polarization

  • phase: phase between the rcp and lcp or horizontal or vertical polarization

Available buttons:

  • Initialize : initalizes the plot (always available, press to change values)

  • Start: starts the animation (only available after initialize has been pressed)

  • Pause: pauses the animation (only availbel after starting)
